Formed as Nigel Clark Architects in 1984, the practice was based in Marlborough until 1993 when we relocated to our current premises in Wroughton (2 miles south of Swindon and the M4 Motorway). In 2002 following a steady growth a decision was taken to move to Limited Liability company status in order to continue stable growth of the firm and to better deal with succession. The Firm embraces a broad skill-set and is large enough to handle a diverse range of projects while small enough to provide a highly personal and client focused service.

The company ethos is built around a desire to maintain and improve our services to our existing client base and securing a high proportion of repeat business through the improvement of our service to them, where new business is achieved we try hard to provide a similar service recognizing the importance of every customer.

We seek to provide elegantly executed solutions, calling upon extensive experience and our goal is always to meet or exceed our clients' expectations, whilst delivering exceptional value. Our team of Experienced Architects, Senior Architectural Technicians and support staff operate in an environment of equals rather than a traditional hierarchy of management. Most senior staff are directors and shareholders of the practice which ensures each and every project is carried out to our benchmark high standard, culminating in the very best results for our clients.

New projects are assigned to a Director and his team who can answer your questions and assist in every aspect of the design and consultation process. Continuous Professional Development is a key issue within the organisation, guaranteeing that your Project Team has received the appropriate current training across the range of services we provide. In addition to our own portfolio of services, we are able to offer an integrated approach to construction design and management  with Quantity Surveying services through our associated but independent company HMW Consultants,who are based at the same address enabling rigorous control of project costs. We operate in association with a range of other consultants for landscaping, Civil and Structural engineering, CDM Regulation, Planning Consultants and others in order to deliver completed design projects with a well co ordinated approach with consultants we know and trust.

The firm has won a number of Design and Conservation Awards, and carries £2 million worth of Professional Indemnity Insurance cover with higher values available if required. We are a recognized RIBA Chartered Practice and members of the Association of Consultant Architects.
