At week 30 we have only 12 weeks to go and whilst some areas are marginally behind program on the whole we are all very pleased with progress. The massive task of tiling the workshop has commenced and it was very pleasing to see the effort being made to plan, check and double check the setting out and expansion joint locations all work as designed.

The other new trade to start on site is the internal glazed partitions. Whilst the head and base tracks were installed some weeks ago it is always nice to see the actual pieces of glass installed.

The decoration has also progressed very well and the crispness of the shadow cap detailing has been a huge success. The entire dealership has had the mist and base coat of paint with the final round of snagging and making good well under way. The final coat will be held off until later in the project after tiling and second fix M&E has taken place.

Externally the cladding has also progressed very well with only the site measured panels left to install.

The cladding is also now at the stage where the signage can be installed which was due to take place shortly after we left site so we can’t wait to go back and see the finished elevations.

Finally, we have also reached a clean site with the vast expanse of base coat tarmac being installed across the secure compound.
