This scheme lies within the formal area of the Redhouse section of Priory Vale, The design criteria for which are laid out in the Framework Plan. There was scope for the style of dwellings within this framework and also for how to achieve what is required.

We have opted to provide a sense of place different to other schemes and identifiable within the overall development through the use of a formal central avenue leading through different spaces such as the circus and the square with courtyards leading from it. Density reduces and detached houses feature on the periphery of the site where a less dense appearance was required.

The sloping site presented severe difficulties requiring a high degree of detail and thought to overcome in a cost effective way.

Car parking has been kept off street.
