Historic Works

There are many facets to this sort of work, many of which require extremely specialist advice. This is generally available in the case of listed buildings or conservation areas from English Heritage, SPAB, the Local Planning Authority. We have a great deal of expertise in respect of traditional; repair techniques, Lime plaster, Lime Putty, stone work brickwork, timber frame and thatch.

Works can include finding new uses for historic work that are suitable for the building without causing damage. We have experience in Residential, Commercial, Retail & Leisure uses involving Listed buildings, or works in conservation areas. This is often helpful where new development involves retaining listed buildings as part of the scheme.
