This scheme lies within the formal area of the Redhouse section of Priory Vale, the design criteria for which were laid out in the Design Framework Plan.

We opted to provide a sense of place different to other schemes and identifiable within the overall development. We designed a formal central avenue leading through different spaces such as the circus and the square with courtyards leading from it. The building density reduces outwards from the centre of the development where detached houses feature on the periphery of the site.

The sloping site presented severe difficulties requiring high levels of detail and thought to overcome in a cost-effective way.
